Wow! I cannot believe this is all happening this fast. Graduation is in less than 3 months, and the wedding is in 102 days!! I guess reality really hit us when we attended a day-long workshop this past weekend, where different couples came in and talked about different aspects of marriage. I can only pray that God is always present in our relationship, so that we are wise enough to make the best decisions.
Well, my gorgeous dolls already picked out their dresses AND they're going to look gorgeous! Ryan and I picked the color for our wedding, and it will be Malibu Blue. I've always hated bridezillas who only think about themselves and pick Baby Pink without consulting their groom-to-be. Now, as the whole planning process continues, I can see how a bride becomes bridezilla, trust me, I know. But I want Ryan to have as much input as possible, even though I'm more picky about details than he is.
We're still looking for a DJ/MC.
If you know anyone, let me know! :D

Our Reception Site!
Hello! :) I just wanted to post some pictures I took of our reception site, the Browsville Community Club; it is located in Brownsville, WI and it is less than 10 minutes from our church, St. Andrew's in LeRoy, WI.
I'll have to admit that when I first visited the BCC I was not completely impressed. I don't know why, but I always wanted some fancy country club or golf course. Yeah, once you actually have to think of money and your budget in general, you have to make some modifications to your expectations. We also visited the Mayville Golf Course, which is really nice, looks fancier, would be perfect for pictures, etc... However, it was a bit more expensive, they had a $1,000 bar minimum AND they charged $2 per plate because we would not use their catering services (Ryan's dad will cater for us). They later on expressed that they would drop the $2 charge, but we would "make it up in bar business". I did not understand what they meant, regardless I did not want to be worrying about the $1,000 bar minimum or anything like that. Also, the bar prices are higher than at the BCC.
Now, at the BCC, the manager Trisha is a sweetheart and helped us a lot. We don't have to worry about how much $$ we spend at the bar, we will only pay for what we drink (which might be more than the $1,000 =)) We don't have to worry about bar minimums, bartender or gratuity fees (which was 15% of bar tabs at the Mayville Golf Course). So, we're really happy that we chose this place and I cannot wait to decorate it and make it look cute!
Engagement Photo Pose Possibilities
Here are some photos that I like, but please feel free to add your own or say which ones you like/don't like -- after all, this is for both of you!! :) Can't wait to see you both tomorrow! We could shoot both tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday if you'd like :) And it is supposed to snow on Friday so it might be cold but we could get some cool shots that way. I am so excited and honored that you both chose me to photograph your engagement photos! It's my first time, but I know the area and some neat streets pretty well, and I think campus would also be really beautiful. Any shot will be beautiful if both of you are in it :) Lots of love, Sammy.
